Pastor JohnRev. John Gerlach

John and his wife Joan have been living in Branford, CT with their children Bekah (13) and AJ (9).   Pastor John served the Branford UMC for 13 years leading that church out a period of hurt and pain and giving leadership to a vital and growing congregation. John takes up the leadership of Trinity on July 1st. His first service will be on July 10th in the Great Room   Pastor John's three top priorities are:  God, His family and the Church.

Pastor SkipPastor Skip Eggimann

Skip Eggimann serves as the Pastor of Discipleship Ministries at Trinity. His primary responsibilities include oversight and development of our small group ministry, adult education, discipleship and pastoral care through out the congregation. A graduate of Columbia International University, Columbia, SC, he has a BS in Bible and Theology. Pastor Skip has many years of experience in youth and family ministry. He is married to Nancy, and enjoys spending time with their two grandchildren. 860-688-9245 x-104

JericaJeff and Erica Jacobsen

Jeff and Erica Jacobsen are the directors for youth and family development. They are excited about building up youth to learn about Christ, grow in their faith, share it with others and become leaders. The ministry will strive to work with families and teens together to strengthen and encourage them in their faith journey.

Erica attended Gordon College, where she received her degree in social work and a youth ministry minor. Jeff attended UCONN, getting a degree in History Education. Jeff and Erica met at a small group Bible Study at Trinity. They have three children, whom they homeschool.

RodneyRodney Shively

Mr. Shively is coming to us from Ohio where he has been involved in Christian education nearly his whole adult life. He also attended
Christian school as a child and a Bible college.
Mr. Shively is excited to get going planning the next school year and be-yond. Mr. Shively has been married to his wife, Michelle, for 20 years and they have two young children.  One of his children is school-age and will be attending TCS this fall.  He is eager to be in Connecticut and grow God's Kingdom through Trinity Christian School.r.shively@tcswindsor.org

SusanSusan De La Cruz

Sue De La Cruz is new to Trinity Christian School for the 2011-2012 school year.  She comes to TCS with nearly 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education in four different states. 

She has worked as a teacher, assistant director, director and even started her own daycare.  De La Cruz also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education Administration.

She said she was excited to come to Trinity because it is a program that is already established.  “I’m eager to see it become not just a preschool, but to introduce the children to working in the community,” she said.  “I want to see it become a force in Windsor.  I want to see it explode.”

The preschool is celebrating its 50th year of operation this year.  Ms. De La Cruz said she is thrilled to be able to build on that foundation.

bob and eileenBob and Eileen Gilbert

Eileen and Bob Gilbert direct the music ministry of the church which includes multiple singing and handbell choirs as well as a Worship team  Both Eileen and Bob are graduates of the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford where they received their B.Mus. degrees. Eileen and Bob have served in various Hartford area churches as organists, choir directors, and worship leaders.  Eileen and Bob see music as an  integral part of worship as well as a way of connecting people to God and to one another. Bob and Eileen have 3 teen age daughters - Brianne, Faith, and Christi and 2 toy poodles - Betsy and Jacque.  They reside in Windsor.

arleneArlene Dargenio

Arlene has been secretary at Trinity for about 16 years and has enjoyed every minute serving such a loving congregation.  She has been married to her husband, Bob for 52 interesting years.  They have raised 5 children and proudly claim 14 grandchildren and 4 granddogs.  She tries to serve Pastor John, the staff, and congregation in any way that furthers the cause of Christ.

SonjaSonja Swedberg

Sonja Swedberg is the bookkeeper for Trinity United Methodist Church and Trinity Christian School. Her responsibilities are paying the bills, preparing the payroll, and preparing reports for the various ministries of the church and school. She has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She lives in Windsor and has three daughters and seven grandchildren

Gil and Chris work hard, behind the scenes at both the Church and the school, to make sure our facility is in the best working condition and is clean and pleasant for; the staff, the children, the worshipers, and visitors.
