NEW ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

THE GOSPEL OF JOHN  The book we will study is the Bible with the aid of Scripture Press Bible Knowledge Series. The subject we will study is the fourth gospel in the New Testament. The human author of this gospel is not identified until the end, where he refers to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loves, the Apostle John. The purpose for this profound book is, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you might have life through His name. This popular gospel is well-known for both its directness and its depth. Come join us for this study in Gods Word. John Hinckley & Alpha Nicholson

PRINCIPLES OF THE ROLE OF THE PARENT  We live in a time of unprecedented challenges for parents.  The world seems more defective than ever.  But the truth is that God has been working in the lives of young people in defective situations for thousands of years. We will look at the practical lessons on discipline, keys for going through rough times and support for each other.  We will use a DVD with Chip Ingram and have lots of discussion.  Pastor Skip Eggimann

PROMISES OF GOD We will be studying the promises of God from the Living Word within the Word of God, the Bible.   During times of crisis in our lives the only thing that matters is what does God have to say about our problems.  And He has many "Promises" that will not be empty or void when we receive them with an open heart.  Come and learn how to apply them to our every day life.  Deny Gallagher

"HOPE AGAIN"  (Book by Charles Swindoll)  We will study Pastor Charles Swindoll's book entitled "Hope Again".  The text is built upon the New Testament book of 1st Peter and provides relevant insight into the needs of our hectic lives.  Our study is summarized in the following quotes from Rev Swindoll; "Hope isn't merely a nice option that helps us temporarily clear a hurdle.  It's essential to our survival." "Hope is a wonderful gift from God, a source of strength and courage in the face of life's harshest trials."  Yes, we all require hope in our lives and our Lord is the only everlasting source of that hope.  Our class is participatory and welcomes adults of all ages to join.  Teacher:  Houston Hemp

JESUS, THE ONE AND ONLY   Woman’s Sunday school class   Study guide from Beth Moore.  It is a stirring study of Jesus from the Gospel of Luke.  Pam Gregory

FATHERHOOD AND FAMILY LIFE  The last verse of the Old Testament refers to turning “the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers”.   This discussion group will explore the many aspects of fatherhood and family life.  We will loosely include the rotational Sunday school subject matter.  This class will specifically target fathers, however many of the principles (such as mentoring or discipleship) may be applied more broadly.  Jon Gregory
