Fall Encounter Groups To Study…
Maybe you're feeling stuck. Caught in a rut. Wondering if this is as good as the Christian life gets. If so, there's good news. You were made for Glory Days. In God's plan you win more than you lose, forgive as quickly as you are offended and give as abundantly as you receive. You may stumble, but you won't collapse. You may struggle, but you will defy despair. You will enjoy abundant fruit and increasing faith. With God's help you can close the gap between the person you are and the person you want to be. Plan to be a part of this exciting study, led by Max Lucado. We hope you have prepared for the Glory Days study this fall by having read the book and taken some time to read the Old Testament book of Joshua. The study will be much more meaningful when you meet with your encounter group. If you would like to open your home to host an Encounter Group, please contact Pastor Skip at Skipjte@juno.com
CHRISTMAS CANTATA NEWS
Trinity will be expanding the excitement of our annual Christmas Cantata this December. Instead of one combined Christmas Cantata service, we will spread the special music and drama/pageantry over two Sundays - December 11 and 18. Choirs, children, pageantry, costumes, soloists and instrumentalists will be part of the services on these Sundays. We will continue our two worship service schedule on these Sundays in order to provide Sunday School for everyone.
As in the past, Bob Gilbert will communicate with families of the children who are to be involved in the cantata. Start thinking of who you can invite to church on these days and get ready for those angels!
NOTE NEW TIME:

The Roblealto Bible Home and Child Care Services is a ministry that is very dear to our heart at Trinity. We have been sending ministry teams to work on site since 2010, and we are laying plans for our next trip. Our contact, Pam Scianna, has secured the date for our 2017 trip which is March 17th - 24th. We will fly out of Bradley, stop in Atlanta and proceed directly to San Jose, Costa Rica. If you have been thinking about going, accept this as your invitation to join us THIS year. Pastor Skip has started a list for those interested in participating. Contact him, email@example.com and let him know that you are thinking about it. Make this your year for stepping out of the box and stretching your faith.

FEEDING THE HUNGRY IN BUSHNELL PARK
Trinity is helping to feed the homeless and working poor in Hartford.
The remaining date isOctober 22. There are many ways to be involved. One way is to help make sandwiches. Help is also needed to assemble the lunches, bake or purchase cookies, brownies or bars for dessert, and help to serve in Bushnell Park. We usually meet at Trinity for 1 PM and are on our way to the park by around 2:30.
