Commitment Sunday December 4

On Sunday, Dec. 4, we will receive our Faith Commitments for 2017. The church is again asking you to make four commitments for the New Year:
· Commit your Time
· Commit your Talents
· Commit your Testimonies
· Commit your Treasures
Letters will be mailed out the last week in November with commitment cards and instructions on filling them out. Please return your Commitment Card on Sunday December 4, for a Celebration and Blessing. If you do not receive a Commitment Card or if you misplace your card, additional cards will be available on Sunday, December 4th.
Our annual church budget is a Faith Budget. What this means is we set a spending plan based on prior year's trends and future needs and we have faith that God will move us as individuals and as a church body to meet the budget with the commitments we make. Your commitment card envelope will not be opened. Your commitment and pledge is between you and God.
Please prayerfully consider how God is leading you to commit your resources in the coming year.
"The measure you give will be the measure you get back." Luke 6:38

Chris Kibbe

Chris Kibbe

Sunday, December 11, 2016 @ 1:30 PM
(Co-sponsored with the Trinity UMW)
Singer/Songwriter Chris Kibbe, joined by his family, makes a return to Trinity to present a relaxing afternoon of Christmas Music.

Trinity will be expanding the excitement of our annual Christmas Cantata this December. Instead of one combined Christmas Cantata service, we will spread the special music and drama/pageantry over two Sundays - December 11 and 18.   Choirs, children, pageantry, costumes, soloists and instrumentalists will be part of the services on these Sundays.  We will continue our two worship service schedule on these Sundays in order to provide Sunday School for everyone.
As in the past, Bob Gilbert will communicate with families of the children who are to be involved in the cantata.  Start thinking of who you can invite to church on these days and get ready for those angels!

Costa Rica Mission Trip 2017

The Roblealto Bible Home and Child Care Services is a ministry that is very dear to our heart at Trinity. We have been sending ministry teams to work on site since 2010, and we are laying plans for our next trip.  Our contact, Pam Scianna, has secured the date for our 2017 trip which is March 17th - 24th.  We will fly out of Bradley, stop in Atlanta and proceed directly to San Jose, Costa Rica. If you have been thinking about going, accept this as your invitation  to join us THIS year. Pastor Skip has started a list for those interested in participating.  Contact him, skipjte@juno.com  and let him know that you are thinking about it.  Make this your year for stepping out of the box and stretching your faith.
