OUR PURPOSE

To worship and glorify God the Father
through His Son, Jesus Christ.
To grow in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ
individually, and as a family.
To seek, to share, and to teach Christ.
To be open to the Holy Spirit,
to be empowered by Him
to fulfill the Great Commission,
and to serve Him in all ways
throughout the community and the earth.

The Journey of Lent

Lent is a journey we all take with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a time and a season that encompasses the gamut of experience from penitence to the joyful expectation of resurrection. In addition to our regular Sunday Worship Schedule we invite you to faithfully participate in all of the following steps along the path to Easter:

Ash Wednesday – February 22 @ 7:00 PM – Worship Service and distribution of ashes.

Palm Sunday – April 1 @ 8:15 AM & 11:00 AM – Celebration of Palms Worship Services

Holy Thursday – April 5 @ 7:00 PM – Worship Service

Good Friday – April 6 @ 7:00 PM – Worship Services

Easter – April 8 @ 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM – Worship Celebration of the Resurrection

We are a Safe Sanctuaries Church

SafeAbout Safe Sanctuaries: Safe Sanctuaries is an overt expression of a congregation in making a congregation a safe place where children and youth may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith.

Scripture for The Week

The Transfiguration

2 Six days later, Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and led them up a high mountain apart, by themselves. And he was transfigured before them, 3 and his clothes became dazzling white, such as no onel on earth could bleach them. 4 And there appeared to them Elijah with Moses, who were talking with Jesus. 5 Then Peter said to Jesus, "Rabbi, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings,m one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." 6 He did not know what to say, for they were terrified. 7 Then a cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud there came a voice, "This is my Son, the Beloved;n listen to him!" 8 Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them any more, but only Jesus. 9 As they were coming down the mountain, he ordered them to tell no one about what they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.
